MEET DR. MELANIE

A Calling Five Generations in the Making

Chiropractic isn’t simply what I do—it’s part of who I am.

I was raised in a family where chiropractic wasn’t just a profession; it was a calling. Growing up, our holidays were filled with chiropractors. If someone needed an adjustment, my grandfather, my father, or one of my uncles was always willing to help. Conversations around the dinner table weren’t about business—they were about people. We celebrated the woman who finally became pregnant after years of trying, the rancher who could return to work without pain, the patient whose migraines had finally subsided, and the countless lives changed through compassionate chiropractic care.

Those stories shaped my understanding of healthcare long before I ever became a doctor.

As a child, I spent countless hours at my father’s office and later worked there throughout high school and college. While many children heard their parents complain about work at the end of the day, my dad came home excited. He loved serving people, solving problems, and helping families live healthier lives. Watching that passion firsthand showed me that healthcare isn’t just about treating pain—it’s about loving people well.

Growing up, my family taught me to care for the body through nutritious food, movement, chiropractic care, and healthy habits. Those early lessons planted a deep appreciation for the incredible way our bodies are designed and the responsibility we have to steward them well.

When I attended chiropractic school, that appreciation became conviction. The more I studied the complexity of the human body, the more I believed we are intentionally designed. Every system has purpose. Every structure works together with remarkable precision. My faith in Jesus Christ deepened that belief even further and continues to shape the way I practice today.

I believe God alone is the ultimate Healer, but I also believe He designed our bodies with an extraordinary capacity to heal. My role is not to force healing, but to help remove barriers, restore function, educate my patients, and partner with them as they faithfully steward the health God has entrusted to them.

That philosophy influences every appointment.

I don’t believe healthcare should feel rushed.

I believe every patient deserves to be heard before they are treated. Whether we’re reviewing X-rays together, discussing nutrition, creating a personalized care plan, or answering questions, my goal is always the same: that you leave feeling heard, hopeful, educated, and genuinely cared for.

One of the greatest joys in my practice is caring for multiple generations of the same family. There is something incredibly meaningful about serving grandparents, parents, and children under one roof and watching healthy habits and hope pass from one generation to the next.

Outside of the office, my faith remains the foundation of everything I do. My relationship with Christ continually reminds me that my greatest calling is to love God and love people well. TEMPL Health is simply the place where I have the privilege of living out that calling each day.

As a fifth-generation chiropractor, I don’t take that legacy lightly. Every morning before I begin seeing patients, my prayer is simple:

“Lord, help me faithfully steward the gifts You’ve given me by loving and serving the people You place in my care.”

Thank you for considering TEMPL Health.

It would be an honor to care for you and your family.
